From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph

“It’s somebody birthday

Right now, right now

Right now...right now”...

Caught on the scents of her perfumes

It was a few past midnight when

I said I wanted to be her groom

She laughed and tried to scrub our love off

Didn’t realize we got matching tatts

It was only then she pulled me in closer

And asked to go half on a baby

I told her I’d go a quarter

If she went three

Cause I needed the odds of her beauty

To be in our children’s favor

She said she’d love me, cherish me

Till the day I die

I didn’t believe her words, just her eyes

My first mistake in love’s suicide
