I marvel that you soon removed,
Calling you from the grace of Christ;
Another gospel that reproved,
Jesus by becoming enticed.
Not that there is another one,
But there are some who trouble you;
Wanting to distort of the Son,
To a doctrine that is untrue.
Even an angel from Heaven,
Try to preach to the contrary;
From in which that has been given,
Is making a person wary.
If someone preaching a gospel,
Contrary to the one received;
Let them be the accursed people,
Preaching of what has been deceived.
I am seeking the approval,
Persuading about God to men;
Other gospels a removal,
Those preaching then God will condemn.
For if I still try to please man,
I am not a servant of Christ;
Deviating from God and His plan,
The reason He was sacrificed.
