The Backyard Of My Life

Winter Lady Long Tailed Peacock

The emerald throne at the crystal lighthouse
A ladder leading up to the sun
Bouquet of violets fall at your feet
She told me someday we would meet again
Winter lady long tailed peacock
The road to truth has many turns appreciate the pearls of wisdom
Clinging to words that begin to unfold
Romantic letters worth there weight in gold
Absolutely sincerely cross my heart
Watching the snowflakes shine in the dark

From a window candle light cry's for a shadow
While two silhouettes flicker in the flame
Step inside love from where ever you came
Captivated enchanted by the sweet smell of perfume
When the night is over weave it on a loom
Then gently fall down beside me
With your wishes on eyelashes dreams on your lips

The postcards from heaven illustrated souvenirs
Memories baptized in beauty
Fires of passion burning in her hands
Maybe one day we will both look back and understand
Winter lady short haired nightingale
If love is a long road twisting getting deeper a masterpiece perfection
Holding on to chandeliers of hope
Slowly climbing a burning rope
Confused choir the sound of an angels voice
Strings of tears bind us we always have a choice

Christmas night i saw a light in the window
Watching her move in mysterious ways
Surrounding her sleep in endless days
Wherever the wind blows weather of a halo
Invincible belief is something we both know
While you rest your pretty little head on a patchwork quilt
The life we once knew was covered in guilt
Like a lifetime in a moment lasting forever
