Blessed be our God, Father of our Lord; That we honor and laud, To whom we have adored. For His mercy and grace, Makes us be born again; A compassionate embrace, Forgiving our sin. Which gives us living hope, Resurrect from the dead; That is helping to cope, With what we have been fed. For an inheritance, As imperishable; An undefiled stance, But is charitable. It is kept in Heaven, And having been reserved; Of what God has given, Although is undeserved. By the power of God, Through faith being guarded; Purifies where been flawed, That will be rewarded. For salvation prepared, Revealed in the last day; When the Father has shared, And this place fades away. For in this you rejoice, After grieving trials; Righteousness is your choice, Rids all that defiles. As your faith been tested, More precious than the gold; Through Christ invested, How precious to unfold. Although you have not seen, Still you gave Him your love; From all of which has been, With blessings from above. Copyright © 2020 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
