~INNER BEAUTY~
A poem based on a true story about a man- NOT ME.
He was a dark, handsome Italian man.
Women were crazy about him but
he went with a woman who could
never win a beauty contest.
On the contrary, she might be
classed as having a weight problem,
with the very heavy body needing help
in getting in and out of a car.
Men whispered and women gossiped,
"Why a man would select a woman
no man might wish to have?"
When asked by a bold lady,
He replied,
"I had a wife, a real beauty;
the day I found her with my friend,
I almost killed her and my friend.
Ever since that day I hate beauty.
Now I have a woman, not a beauty.
She has real inner beauty.
She loves me and makes me so happy.
I trust her and love her truly.
I will always hate so-called beauty.
Deadly poison in a bottle of beauty"
That man was so right.
Outer looks could be very deceiving.
Never get impressed by the outer looks
or reject someone for the outer looks;
take your time to know the inner self,
avoid the poison in a bottle of beauty.
Not all beautiful bottles contain poison.
Any bottle can contain deadly poison.
