Losing precious thing in a dream
Causes intense pain as if it is lost
In your reality even after knowing
That it was lost in your dream.
Some situations in your life could
Be classed as a dream-like situation.
Loss or gain in those situations
Have a similar effect you could have
Within a dream, especially the loss
Because the gain in a dream has
No residual effect but the pain
Of losing in a dreamlike situation
Lingers on and the after effect
Is hard to come to terms with.
