Of the times and the season,
You have no need as written;
That the end times has begun,
To show what was forbidden.
For you are fully aware,
About the Day of the Lord;
Will come like a thief dare,
In darkness of night has soared.
There is protection and peace.
Then a sudden destruction;
Labor pains will not cease,
For the evil seduction.
But you are not in the dark,
The day storm you like a thief;
For in the light you embark,
Because of faith and belief.
You are children of the light,
Let us watch and be sober;
Not of the darkness of night,
That Satan would encumber.
Let us then not try to sleep,
Rather let us stay awake;
While watching over the sheep,
Since we know what is at stake.
For those who will sleep at night,
And who had too much to drink;
Never having the insight,
Or the foresight as to think.
Since we belong to the day,
Faith and love is a breastplate;
Helmet of hope to obey,
As salvation, our fate.
For God has not destined wrath,
But salvation to obtain;
The Lord guiding our path,
Avoiding eternal pain.
Christ died for each one of us,
Whether we sleep or awake;
Build up each other as thus,
Knowing He will not forsake.
