Oh how I love Your Law,
I meditate all day;
Responding to my call,
As I trust and obey.
Your precepts makes me wise,
It is ever with me;
That enemies despise,
They are too blind to see.
I have understanding,
More than all my teachers;
What You are commanding,
That enhance my features.
For Your testimonies,
Are my meditation;
Our patrimonies,
Giving us salvation.
I know more than the past,
As I keep Your precepts;
So I will ever last,
Living in Your concepts.
I will hold back my feet,
From any evil way;
Would cause to steal or cheat,
That makes one go astray.
I want to keep Your Word,
Never to turn aside;
Imparting all I heard,
That helps me to abide.
Your judgments that I cling,
For all that You have taught;
The benefits will bring,
The salvation I sought.
For how sweet is Your Word,
Much sweeter than honey;
So clear and never blurred.
More precious than money.
Your Law I understand,
So I hate a false way;
What Your precepts demand,
Helps to trust and obey.
