The Backyard Of My Life

A World Without You

You gotta follow your own path
Do what you wanna do
I would feel alone in this world without you
Tho i will find it hard to face a brand new day
If the colours in a rainbow quickly turn to Grey

You give my memories meaning
Shape the things that i know
Give my soul a structure i feel like letting go
Blue clouds come crashing on the crest of a wave
You made my heart a home with the love that you gave

Somewhere beyond the blue
Maybe tomorrow
I can abandon all sorrow
I could learn to live again
In a world without you
I could maybe make a wish on a falling star
We see the world not as it is but as we are

After all these crazy years
I still feel the same its nothing new
I would  be dead on my feet in a world without you
Every morning seems so empty its quiet on your own
Watching flowers on the wall while you slowly turn to stone

The sky would turn to ashes
The sun would cease shinning too
I would be lost and lonely in a world without you
My mind would be restless i couldn't sleep at night
With a weight on my shoulders my dreams would not take flight
So i will try to carry on
Do what i must do
But i will feel alone in a world without you
In a world without you
In a world without you
In a world without you
