CHURCH - THE NIGERIAN DEFINITION

Church in Nigeria is an erstwhile hypocritical venture. Obviously and sincerely, the words "Church" and "Nigeria" clearly have nothing in common. I am not referring to "The Nigerian Church" because there is nothing as "The Nigerian Church". I am however attempting to have a foothold on what may be termed "the Church" in Nigeria. I was talking to a witch in the country the other day and mentioned a particular relatively good church. She confirmed that witchcraft activities in that church were even higher than those of other churches. According to her, the spiritual name of that Church is "Harlots City". She then gave me an instance of a pastor from that church asking an unmarried lady to go after a married man, while claiming that there was nothing wrong about it. Gatherings of 92% or less of witches meeting to "adore" or "worship" God has made a mess of the good work of missionaries in the country and of Christianity itself. What should a church (the body of Church in converse to that of an harlot) be like? A gathering of peoples claiming the Christian faith, who from top (laity) to the led are witches and wizards? Should we call a church, a gathering of Pastors, Assistant pastors, Pastors' wives, Deacons, Deaconesses, Church Administrators, Board members, Elders, Choir leaders, Choiresters, Ushers, Adults, Youth Presidents, Youth, Children teachers and Children who are all witches and wizards?
Honestly, this is just the least description of what obtains in Nigerian Churches. And in case you are very much interested in or need a miracle, you should be informed that the guy who testified of being favored with a car from another member of the church, belongs to the same cult as the one from whom they received the said favor. And you may be walking into your death seeking such favor. Nigerian Churches are spiritual virtue trading or buying and selling centers. I know a church where the Assistant Pastor, a Marine agent, and who still retains that title, recently killed his senior pastor in order to assume his seat. While the likes of Pastor William Kumuyi down played on prophecy and focused only on his calling as an Apostle of Holiness due to the bastardization of prophecy by the Cherubim and Seraphim and Celestial Churches, a great number of his pastors and membership are presently witches and wizards. Dr. David Oyedepo is ever scaling heights but having his members mess up the ministry with Mamonism. Pastor Enoch Adeboye is also doing well except that his ministry is a hideout for Harlots and witches. Reverend Chris Oyakhilome has focused on his calling as Teacher, Pastor and Healer, but his membership are more than above average, corrupt and satanic. I have not mentioned the vast number of false prophets out there running Churches.

Nigerian Churches, whether as Pentecostal or Orthodox, are highly hypocritical and syncretic. Dragons are worshipped in Nigerian Churches with the aim of installing the Anti-Christ. I am recommending an official tv program to cover the activities of all African, particularly, Nigerian Churches, called CHURCH AFRICA which should give full video coverage of all gatherings in the country and continent heretofore known as churches, and the reduction of all church service times to one hour and only a single service on each service day. Also, all churches and mosques should be ceiled and contain sound from them in order to check on the present chaotic state of noise pollution emanating from them. All these are due to the fact that Nigerians run Churches with unsupervised branches, rather than individually controlled and personally overseen ministeries with limited, accountable membership. Quite unlike in places like the United States where we could have Deeper Life Church, Goldberg, and all else such individually owned ministeries with limited membership and full community participation and commitment. Damn it! I would never go to those kinds of churches where millions of peoples, some of whom are ghosts attend services on week days in Lagos, Nigeria.
