'' Your Promised Land ''
From birth to the grave,
This affects human life,
It's even more common than vanity,
Your soul it will save,
Or else cause you strife,
It can even drive some to insanity.
We'll kill to get there,
Which doesn't make sense,
So says just one of his rules,
Though most are aware,
This is really quite dense,
We continue to follow like mules.
His reps here on earth,
Would have you believe,
They carry his message to you,
Where you will berth,
Will destroy or relieve,
Yet none can prove this is true?
Religions are rich,
But you mustn't ask why,
This question, they'll refuse to answer,
They make their pitch,
Then wait till you die,
Their exploits towards us are a cancer.
Let's create a fuss,
Yes, clear the mist,
It is time to set ourselves free,
Discard them and us,
Their falsehoods resist,
Deep inside you, faith is the key.
Utilise your option,
To believe or not,
Let the charlatans all understand,
You're not up for adoption,
Giving life, all you've got,
Means you will find,
' Your Promised Land '
