I hate the double-minded,
And those having such vain thoughts;
Because they are so blinded,
Circulating the night spots.
But I love God and His Law,
My hiding place and my shield;
His Word avoids any flaw,
That Satan would try to yield.
For my hope is in His Word,
Blocking the evildoers;
Adhering all that I heard,
Avoiding dark pursuers.
I keep the Laws of my God,
Upholds me to His promise;
So that I may live to laud,
Evil is brought to justice.
Let me not be put to shame,
In the hope that holds me up;
I continue to proclaim,
As I ignore the gossip.
I shall be safe with respect,
With regard for His precepts;
Because I shall not reject,
For any of His concepts.
He scorns all who go astray,
For their cunning is in vain;
Their deceit they disobey,
For falsehood will cause them pain.
All the wicked of the earth,
He will throw away like dross;
Because they will show no worth,
Discarding them no big loss.
For I love His testimonies,
As my flesh trembles with fear;
Punishment for the phonies,
Since His judgment is severe.
