I HEARD CHILDREN PLAYIMG By Terrence michael Sutton, www.PoetryPoem.com/aussiepoet Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Seems they'd found brand new game
Created by parents watching news
Each throwing rubber shoes at tins
The children all in lined up cues
Laughing as they bold them over
Each one a country taking out tins
Knocking them with rubber thongs
Bowl them see then who wins
A few grown up's joined me there
Chuckles and smiles took place
One said they get this from news
With all this grown up disgrace
Cheers when a tin went flying
With thongs being so hurled
Welll lets face one guy said
Take a good look at the world
But even though different colors
They were all one and good mates
From black to white no matter
Loved one another not any hates
I think this planet should've seen
This account of news about today
The children seeing it as it is now
Nore common sense on display
