BENEFITS OF DECENTRALIZED ECONOMIES (AN ASPECT OF RADIAL ECONOMICS)
In Nigeria, if you need money, then you have to go to Abuja, and see "Senator A" or "Senator B" or possibly "President Y". If you had political concerns, the same. And if you finally got the money, appointment or opportunity, and didn't have your head chopped off with an axe, then you would bring back home a weaved bag containing Naira notes and declare your "greatness". And if you needed a job, you would have to go live in Lagos, and in case you needed to benefit from oil or petroleum money or related opportunities, then you would have to go live at Port Harcourt and its environs. So, summarily, Nigerian problems are: Money/ Politics, jobs and Oil (not even knowledge, personal development, love or Goodwill).
But the president could comfortably see 3 to 40 of his citizens each day in just any city of Nigeria they live in in 15 to 200 minutes (i.e a maximum of 3 hours, 20 minutes) evenly spread across the entire day (considering allocating 5 minutes to each citizen) thrice a week, and reserve most other official hours to foreign diplomacy or issues of serious concern, with citizens approved for such meetings having tendered their query at a state or local government establishment saddled with the responsibility, who would in turn had duly screened such a citizen, who also should have in turn paid a token for such service, at a place somewhere at their local destination in the country where the presidency approves for such purpose, through an interactive interface, rather than having everyone needing such service, opportunity or favor go crowd at Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt. This should be called "Decentralized politics". Embassies could also operate this way by conducting interviews or machine interviews for people in the privacy of their homes or where they may dim fit for the purpose.
Decentralized Economy then would involve having the factors of production at different marked territories with different and specific population, and producing at and for such designated territories, and directly distributing and marketing them to those territories, rather than transporting or importing goods and services from a central place where production is done to other places. There are benefits attached to this form of production and marketing system. They include:
1. Little expenditure on transportation of raw materials, goods and services from their point of production to other places of delivery or consumption, which if analyzed could give various patterns like: "the linear end-to-end transportation system", "the variegated transportation system" and "the aimless roaming transportation system", which are mostly a waste of both time and fuel or energy.
2. Promotion of safety, as most unnecessary traveling would have been cut down on.
3. Easy availability of goods and services.
4. Regular demand and supply. Since both production margin is specific, creating a situation where there is always a demand from the fixed populace and constant supply, especially where everyday consumables are concerned.
5. Timely offer of goods and services and derived satisfaction/ gain. Goods get to their targeted population quickly and gain is made easily.
6. Absence of poisoning. Foods, particularly do not have to go round from place to place for long periods from manufacturers or producers to middle men to retailers in these day of easy spiritual and physical contamination before purchase and consumption.
7. Ensures proper circulation of cash.
8. Prevents Monopoly.
9. Decentralized or directly mobilized security. All or most security personnel would not have to be domiciled at Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt, where everyone else would have aggregated to. There are many other benefits.
The only concern with this type of Economy would be Security issues as people would be found mostly around community locations. This can be well handled by developing a Security System I am proposing as UNI SECURITIES, which offers a package called "WATCH YOUR BROTHER" OR "WATCH YOUR SISTER", based on the intentioner, which should have a maximum of three (3) persons of similar sex report on the thoughts, mental engagements, either as STRAY THOUGHTS, FLASHES, ENGAGED THOUGHTS (MONITORED BASED ON INTEREST AND CONSCIOUS INVOLVMENT WITH THEM), OBSESSIONS, TEMPTATIONS AND REACTIONS, with reports rated as ACCURATE, ERRONEOUS AND FALSIFIED, WHILE COMPARED INDEPENDENTLY WITH THOSE OF ANOTHER MONITORING SYSTEM WHICH COVERS ALL THOUGHT PROCESESS IN THE SPECIFIED TERRITORY. UNI SECURITIES AIMS AT EMPLOYING EVERYONE THE WORLD OVER AND PAYING THEM FOR THEIR SERVICES either as ACCURATE, ERRONEOUS OR FALSIFIED (WHICH COULD HAVE SERIOUS IMPLICATIONS). WE WANT SITUATIONS WHERE PEOPLE COULD BUY AIR OR LOCATION TIME, LOG THEM INTO THE UNI SECURITIES NETWORK AND BROWSE, MONITOR/ REPORT FOR SECURITY REASONS OR JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT, THE THOUGHTS OF OTHER PEOPLE WITHIN PARTICULAR SQUARE METERS, MILES OR TERRITORIES, SO EVERYONE CAN BE INVOLVED IN THE SECURITY PROCESS. WHILE BABIES OR EXTREMELY OLD PERSONS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE DIRECTLY INVOLVED, THEIR THOUGHT PROCESSES MAY BE DIRECTLY BROWSED AND MONITORED FOR SAFETY SAKE. IN MOST CASES, BILL BOARDS SHOWING DANGEROUS ANTICIPATED THOUGHTS LIKE THOSE OF SUICIDE, RAPE, MURDER, ASSASSINATION, KIDNAPPING, APPREHENSION OR MOLESTATION, ETC WITH THE INDIVIDUAL'S LOCATION ARE DISPLAYED PUBLICLY, AS WELL AS AT SECURITY OUTFITS OR CORPS SHOPS SO THAT THEY ARE IDENTIFIED AND EASILY ARRESTED, HELPED OR REPRIMANDED.
The benefits of decentralized Economy are so numerous that at times, at least at certain periods or situations, people don't have to pay for certain goods or services but have them free with zero impact on the producers or service providers.
