THE HUNGRIEST MAN

THE HUNGRIEST MAN

JOY SUN

DEDICATION

For some men not born in Hungary.

A situation occurred once that sparked up a concern in a country. A man was taken to a Nervous Hospital and placed under the care of a nurse, who placed him on oxygen, and a drip of sedatives. It turned out the nurse went out to buy something nearby. When she returned, the guy was nowhere to be found. She talked to the senior consultant about it who told her she just had to look after that. For six days, nobody knew where the man was. One afternoon, amidst commotions, a staff of the hospital met someone groaning in a nearby gutter. It was the man. The hospital's emergency unit was alerted and he was rescued from the drain by some experts. Obviously, the drip had run down and sucked away into the tube nearly all his blood. The director of the hospital brought his knowledge to bear explaining that the man needed food urgently. In that rush, seventeen plates of food has been brought by peoples from all directions who were interested and had heard and could help. The wonder. The man stood up, with both eyes firmly closed, dipped his fingers abstractly into one of the plates, which contained soup, dragged out a single periwinkle, sucked it up, and shouted "water!" and fell dead. The said nurse picked her pulse measuring equipment and looked at the calendar. 090 oh no!
