Portals Of Your Eyes
I peeped through your windows
and saw empathy there.
Smiling, "She" beckoned me in
to share moments in time.
History being close by joined us
to enrich us with enlightenment.
Courage, humble yet audacious
spoke to us of "His" bravery.
Nobility served us sustenance
and we did eat.
Peace offered us of "Her" waters
and we did drink.
Unity embraced us
with "His" enduring arms,
binding us for all eternity.
