Beyond Terra - Self Sabotage

Self-Sabotage _
unidentified daily suicide
On many backs
do these monkeys ride

Walking through our lives
always by our side
Battling our decisions
til we change the tide

Forever in our ears
with a constant whisper
Working our minds
til we’re sore and blistered.

Turning our hearts hopes
and dreams
Into tear dropping
bloodborne streams

Scope the source
by looking out here and there
Yet the pre-existing cores’
within Us unaware

Truly we hope it is him the other guy
Or maybe it is "he _ she,
them or thy"

I’ll take all extremes
to help you see
It’s undoubtedly anybody else _
but me
