SUDDENCY (MANIPULATION 10)
SUDDENCY is an aspect of involuntary and timeless manipulation. That means, it is often compulsive, leaving no room for its victims to act to safety within a very short time which it affords. It involves, suddenly seeing something overpowering, overbearing and irresistible and falling prey to its negative biddings. It mimics, employs, adopts and is a form of hypnotism. It is a form of soul arrest where a person is made to see something negative, suddenly which is amplified to the feelings or senses.
"And when she saw that the tree was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat". (Genesis 3: 6).
This involved a sudden trapping or unaltered position with an amplification of the senses to get attracted to and fall victim of inciteful scenes. It is an exact opposite of, and is adopted from the method employed by God in giving trances, as trances involve a sudden halt in action, position (which should allow for focus) and subsequent transmission of a supernatural information, termed vision, which requires a high dissipation of energy, and which is why trances usually occur at most twice or thrice in one's lifetime, since in it, the soul is deeply affected and may be seriously denatured or injured, because something similar to a laser beam is focused on the person's mind, which is risky.
SUDDENCY is ranked among Reflex temptations, which are not truly reflex but are made to be so, and which one would have to account for on yielding. Other related manipulations include suicide, sexual sins, homosexuality, hypnotizing, weariness or giving up (which is a gradual effect spread over a long period of time till one finally responds to it at a deep or great point of bodily weakness, which is an exact opposite of hypnotism, because whereas there is little or no time in Hypnotizing, there is actually much more time and gradual, subtle and repeated pressure on the physical body and senses to act in Weariness). It seems Satan uses both poles of time and engagement to afflict, allotting a longer time to deceive and a shorter time to afflict (as in bed time harassments).
King David's attraction to Bathsheba, Uriah's wife in scripture was a clear example.
"And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from his bed, and walked upon the roof of the King's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon." (2 Samuel 11: 2).
As in all cases of SUDDENCY, this was not a case of gradual enticement but a sudden one. A friend once hinted me of an event that occurred to him concurrently for about twice in a week. It involved walking on a road, and just turning to see a woman purely naked after easing herself by a roadside as most unfortunate Nigerians do. In both cases, according to him, the women were wearing and had loosened their wrappers to show him their nakedness, and with the compelling urge to have sex with them. I had to tell him it was not a mistake. Someone was hunting him and he had better be careful. Why did all these things happen? Usually, in all cases of suddency, something (a demon) is planted in the seduced, which is also in the seducer or seductress, which amplifies the scene and makes it overbearing or impossible to resist. To avoid all cases of SUDDENCY, you must ensure that your vessel (spirit, soul and body) does not have demons which could serve as a contact point for remoting one into sin. All cases of the so called "SOUL TIES" associated with peoples who have had the wrong types of sex before and their enslavement are prompted at these junctions.
