Don`t you just hate it when you`re feeling down
The smile on your face is replaced with a frown
Today I am grounded my heart just can`t fly
For it`s in my boots and it`s not soaring high.
I don`t want to smile it would be easier to cry
I search my soul and I ask myself why
I want my brain to give me the solution
But it seems filled with nothing but pollution.
My thoughts stray to places I don`t want to go
Making me unhappy and feeling very low,
My mind leaves behind the logic that I know
And then the sadness just seems to grow.
I can`t let it win I just have to be strong
Down in the dumps is not where I belong,
So I will smile and stick by what I say
That after all tomorrow is another day.
