I have done what is just and right,
Leave me not to my oppressors;
That the Lord judges in His sight,
Of those that are the transgressors.
Give your servant a pledge of good,
Let not insolent oppress me;
Doing only as the Lord would,
For advising in His decree.
My eyes long for His salvation,
Fulfilling His righteous judging;
In building a firm foundation,
Just and fair never begrudging.
He deals with His servant mercy,
According to His steadfast love;
As He teaches of His decree,
From His throne in Heaven above.
For I am His willing servant,
Who has given understanding;
Testimonies that are fervent,
Of all that He is commanding.
It is time for the Lord to act,
Because His Law has been broken;
Now He needs to make an impact,
On the blaspheme that is spoken.
His precepts I love more than gold,
More precious to me than silver;
For the judgments that will unfold,
Are looking on me with favor.
All His precepts considered right,
Never diverted a false way;
For they keep me within His light,
Keeping me from going astray.
