'' I've Met Up With God ''
When I took my last breath,
Everything was clear,
My meeting with death,
Was one to endear.
Yes, I did see a light,
After I'd gone,
It shone ever so bright,
Was this my new dawn?
It was as I was told,
I felt fully alive,
A beauty to behold,
Where all life did thrive.
Everything in view,
Was better than expected,
I was starting anew,
Feeling ever so protected.
No wars or disputes,
No feelings of greed,
What this constitutes,
Is no-one will bleed.
A world without strife,
It is truly supreme,
An eternal life,
No, it's not all a dream.
This life can be yours,
It's what you can achieve,
Although faith reassures,
You have got to believe.
Throughout life on Earth,
Heavenly tales I found odd,
But here now where I berth,
‘' I've Met Up, With God ‘'
