The Warriors of Facebook
And the Social Media stage
Spew forth their public anger
In Protest and rants and rage,
And bitter arguments follow
Out there in Cyber Space
While in the real world
Where real events take place
Energy is being dissipated
By Angry words spoken,
Long time friendships
At times sadly broken.
And those. in power
Don't really care
When anger is purged
In Cyber Hot Air.
The system just grinds
Inexorably on and on
Workers rights by now
Almost completely gone
And the people in power
Like to see the hot air blow
Content that such vented anger
Will maintain the Status Quo.
Nothing will change
Until protestors meet
And grievances are aired
In peaceful protest on the street.
