Righteous are You, O Lord,
And right are your precepts;
Your judgements are adored,
For Your righteous concepts.
You attest to command,
In righteous faithfulness;
And continue to stand,
Giving delightfulness.
For my zeal consumes me,
My foes forget Your Word;
Blind eyes that do not see.
Deaf ear whenever heard.
Your promise is well tried,
And Your servant loves it;
Without You I have cried,
I want not to forfeit.
I am small and despised,
Yet not forget Your Law;
For Your precepts advised,
How to avoid a flaw.
Righteousness forever,
And Your Law is the truth;
For it will not sever,
And never be uncouth.
Trouble has found me out,
Anguish has taken hold;
Your Law without a doubt,
Delights as it is told.
Righteousness testifies,
That is everlasting;
Because it clarifies,
What life has been casting.
