I give thanks to You O Lord, I give thanks with my whole heart; I sing praise who is adored, For His precepts I impart. I bow down in the temple, Giving thanks unto Your name; Steadfast love to Your people, Your faithfulness I proclaim. I exalt above all things, For Your name and of Your Word; For the goodness that it brings, Echoing as it is heard. I call You to answer me, Crying out to You this day; To strengthen my soul to see, Increasing me to obey. All of the kings of the earth, Giving thanks to You O Lord; Your Word having priceless worth, For to be in one accord. They shall sing the ways of You, Because greatness is Your glory; Knowing that Your Word is true, Making a beautiful story. Even though You have been high, You have respecting the lowly; But the proud who cheat and lie, Because they are unholy. Though I walk within trouble, You are preserving my life; Pulling me from the rubble, Shielding me from all the strife. You stretch Your hand before my foe, Delivering me from Your wrath, Avoiding the way they go, Before they have reached my path.
