You Don't See Me

You walk by me everyday,
I am hoping for a smile, today,
I need someone to notice me, to care,
But many walk by me and only stare.
I am so lonely and depressed,
I don't know where next I will rest.
They say no more room and send me away,
Come back tomorrow, so they say.
There has to be more to life as I look around,
I fell asleep once again on the cold ground,
I pray at night for my soul's sake,
That tomorrow I will not wake.
I just can't take this anymore,
As I cry and beg at your front door,
You don't see me as you give me a dime,
And now I have ran out of time.
