With my entire heart I cry,
For the Lord maybe answer me;
Keeping His statues as I sigh,
Avoiding an iniquity.
I call unto God to save me,
Because I will never deny;
And observe His testimony,
As I await for His reply.
Before dawn I rise with my plead,
With my hope I keep in His Word;
In the morning I ask of my need,
Adhering to all I have heard.
My eyes are awake in the night,
To meditate on His promise;
Awaiting for Him in my sight,
For serving the proper justice.
I desire to hear my voice,
According to His steadfast love;
Quickening me as per His choice,
For an eternal life above.
They draw near to persecute me,
Evil purpose far from His law;
For causing an iniquity,
While grasping me with its claw.
But I know that the Lord is near,
And all His commandments are true;
The reason that I do revere,
Since I am able to construe.
Because as long as I have known,
Concerning His testimonies;
Forever in the Lord alone,
Founded in His patrimonies.
