Rebuke me not in Your anger,
Nor discipline me in Your wrath;
O Lord, would You be my anchor,
Guide on the straight and narrow path.
Be gracious unto me, O Lord,
Heal me for I am languishing;
Troubled bones not to be ignored,
With a pure heart establishing.
My soul is also sore and vexed,
How long O Lord expect to be?
My life has felt so much perplexed,
Of the tempted iniquity.
Return and deliver my life,
Saving me through Your steadfast love;
For I am in the midst of strife,
Show me of Your mercy thereof.
In death there is no remembrance,
For in Sheol who would give You praise;
Since this life is an encumbrance,
The lifestyle living these days.
I am weary from my groaning,
My bed at night flooding with tears;
O such pain causes my moaning,
For the unknown causing my fears.
My eyes are consumed for the grief,
It grows weak because of my foes;
Please O Lord You give me the relief,
For calming all my aching woes.
Banish the workers of evil,
I weep because their mocking sound;
Their duty is to the devil,
Down into hell where they are bound.
O Lord God, did You hear my plea?
And have you accepted my prayer?
Please give me a sign of decree,
Of the tribulations I share.
Make my enemies be ashamed,
Greatly troubled that they turn back;
That they hear what I have proclaimed,
Fulfilling with faith that they lack
