I don't judge you
By color or time
Why must you
Judge me on mine
I was raised
By an awesome Dad
That took the love
To teach me good from bad
I was taught to look
Beyond the ribbons and bows
The heart of the gift
Is where the value grows
God created each and everyone
To be one of a kind and unique
It is not up to me any difference
To judge and critique
The contents of one's heart
Is what really matters
If we don't dig deep within
Then all we say is idle chatter
We must look
From outside in
It's the only way
This battle to win
We all have our values
And individual faults as well
But not to dig deep
All one sees is an empty shell
I tan my skin
Your curls you tame
But turn us inside out
We are both the same
Don't let those
Driven by hate
Decide what is to be
Our final fate
Thru hate a violence
No point can be made
All is lost in judging
Ones skin tone or shade
It is only clothes
Our souls do wear
We are placed on earth
Our hearts to share
So stop the struggle
And end this fight
It's the content of our hearts
To be equal in His sight
We Are All Brothers
Author's Note Only we can end this battle.
Not our Government with rules and laws
Not the media or those who create distance
It's you and I not allowing others
to dictate how we should feel
and treat each other
God created each of us equal…
Yes different but equal
The end result depends on us.
Nothing in this life is free
We have to work hard for what we want
Everything has a price
But our lives and souls
cannot be for sale
Lets reach an open hand
across the ages of time
and turn to our precious Savior and ask
What Would He Do…..
I so believe ONLY WE can end this insanity
ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
