WHAT CHIRPLESS CRICKETS MAY PREDICT (IN HORROR MOVIES--DREAM POEM)

I had a dream I was a Poet

and I was saddled with a great responsibility.

I was the keeper of the words

the images, the thoughts of all who surrounded me.

I had a small typewrite

that was directly fused to my mind

and when I had a thought of significance

the typewriter would tap-tap at a record pace

as if I had so little time

to record all for posterity

There was little room for me to type my own thoughts

as I was the conduit for all of humanity...

soon enough the typewriter became insolent

and refused to listen to the thoughts of any one  else

and I became to tap-tap away bad poetry

which only had significance to myself...

insolent they called me

selfish to a fault and filled with flaws

the more I tap-tapped on

I no longer heard their words

and tap-tapped to only please myself

soon a series on long-winded titled haiku's came

ones mostly I understood

and this was the very last of them

I write it now

it may not be very good:

Title: What Chirp-less Crickets May Predict ( a Horror Movie Haiku)

Bright crickets chirps stop

young couples coupling in bed

soon enough both dead.
