That Certain Touch

We've a way with royalty in Hull
They made King Charlie wait
Then they told him to B off
As they barred Beverley Gate.

King Billy stands in Lowgate
Mounted on his golden steed
Stood just  a few yards from
A station of  comfort and need

But it's when it comes to Victoria
That the attitude comes through
Haughtily she stands atop
The city's largest public loo.

Yes we've a way with royalty in Hull
We have that certain touch
Maybe that's the reason why
The B's don't come here very much
