Princes persecute without cause,
But I stand in awe of His Word;
For I am following His laws,
And abide by what I have heard.
I will rejoice within His Word,
As the one who finds great spoil;
For within me I have been stirred,
He has anointed me with oil.
I hate and abhor all the lies,
But continue to love His Law;
Because they open up my eyes,
Before I get another flaw.
Seven times a day I do praise,
For all of His righteous precepts;
Keeping them throughout all my days,
For all His spiritual concepts.
Great peace for those who love His Law,
And nothing will make them stumble;
Never to offend as to fall,
Neither to complain nor grumble.
I have hoped for His salvation,
The justice of His commandments;
Building faith of firm foundation,
Through life of new developments.
My soul keeps His testimonies,
And I love them exceedingly;
For my promised patrimonies,
Because He is all knowingly.
All testimonies and precepts,
Before Him in all of my ways;
Unconditioned as one accepts,
Righteously so that no one strays.
