I thank God in my remembrance,
Remembering you in each prayer;
Persevering the encumbrance,
Making into joys that we share.
Your fellowship in the Gospel,
Ever since the first day till now;
While preaching to the people,
Having a capable know how.
Being confident of this thing,
That the Lord of which has begun;
Of the good work results that bring,
As performed of all that was done.
It is right for me to feel this way,
Because I hold you in my heart;
Partakers of grace I pray,
That the Gospel will not depart.
Inasmuch on bonds for defense,
With supporting of the Gospel;
Even though some may take offence,
For being as an example.
For God as being my witness,
How I greatly yearn for affection;
With my spiritual affection,
In my Christ Jesus connection.
And it is in my prayer that love,
May abound even more and more;
With blessings flowing from above,
Like the waves washing up on the shore.
With knowledge and all discernment,
May approve what is excellent;
Since knowing God with His judgement,
May expose who is fraudulent.
The day of Christ are pure and clear,
No longer being offensive;
As the truth is being sincere,
Condemn who are apprehensive.
Fill with the fruit of righteousness,
Who are coming through Jesus Christ;
That reduces the hopelessness,
Earthly desires are not enticed.
