Poetic Verses
God's Son, Sent Down to Earth
Long ago, there was a baby born
In the town of Bethlehem
And wise men came from far away
To adore and worship Him.
And we as well pay homage
To this child of lowly birth
Who is the living Christ, our Lord
God's son sent down to Earth.
To suffer on that cruel cross
On a hill called Calvary
Where He was offered up to die
A ransom for you and me.
Which makes us to appreciate
His victory o'er the grave
As part of God's redemptive plan
Wherein we can be saved.
So, we offer our hosannas
And joyfully praise His name
This Christ child of a lowly birth
Who from the tomb was raised!
In the town of Bethlehem
And wise men came from far away
To adore and worship Him.
And we as well pay homage
To this child of lowly birth
Who is the living Christ, our Lord
God's son sent down to Earth.
To suffer on that cruel cross
On a hill called Calvary
Where He was offered up to die
A ransom for you and me.
Which makes us to appreciate
His victory o'er the grave
As part of God's redemptive plan
Wherein we can be saved.
So, we offer our hosannas
And joyfully praise His name
This Christ child of a lowly birth
Who from the tomb was raised!
