Unrepentant
Would you say an unrepentant man
Will be forever lost,
that his eternal state will be
a devil's holocaust?
Where a lake of fire and brimstone
burns with such fervent heat
in a place of outer darkness,
the ultimate defeat.
But man alone condemns himself
as Scripture makes quite clear
when he refuses to repent
and move with Godly fear.
But does that mean one who atones
can thus live free of sin?
If so, then where and for what cause
is God's grace to begin?
Most say it's when man opts to change
and finally counts the cost
of dying unrepentant
without hope and eternally lost.
