The Backyard Of My Life
Waiting For A Cosmic Girl
Looking for a love light in a big black hole
Someone who speaks the truth to shine on my soul
She looks pretty in pink
Wearing Venus and furs
Waiting for a cosmic girl
Searching for a diamond in the rough
A sweet communicator who's built from strong stuff
Shes eloquent and educated
Shes sailed around the whole wide world
She used to be a factory girl
A girl to get drunk with on Friday nights
To take a trip to the sea side to see the city lights
Somebody to converse with about the increases of life
Someone who sees the same vision to gamble on the edge of a knife
Shes a short haired girl who wears it twice as long
If we don't see eye to eye she tells me when am wrong
She don't care too much for money
Like the transformation of oyster in to a pearl
I need a mystical girl
Meets me in the morning at the bottom of a wishing well
She told me she was trying to break a spell
Shes reading poetry from a black book
With her flag on furl
Waiting for a mysterious girl
Waiting for a curious girl
Waiting for a sentimental girl
Waiting for a cosmic girl
