Be strengthened by the grace,
That is in Jesus Christ;
And Jesus will embrace,
That earth has not enticed.
Whatever you have heard,
From those who have witnessed;
You have to teach the Word,
Faithful who is earnest.
Share in the suffering,
Being a good soldier;
Jesus is buffering,
Shielding from the danger.
No soldier gets snarled,
In civilian pursuits;
Not pleasing to the world,
Rather aim for the roots.
If a man also strives,
Not crowned what he competes;
Abides as he survives;
Lawfully what he meets.
The hard-worker farmer,
Partakes of the first fruits;
Allowing a charmer,
Obtain of his pursuits.
Think over what I say,
Understanding all things;
That you trust and obey,
For the blessings it brings.
