The soul has much to say

Meridian

Intrinsic value

Every breath given

every breath taken

Nothing magical

nor regal

Beauty

that demands attention

compels touch

I long

to swallow it

whole

No mistake

to be made

Ancient words

born of primal need

Time

to let the Spirit

speak

Love is not born

between

the sheets

This cloak

of the soul

has but One Designer

Recklessly

foolishly

I've handed out words of amore

Lyrics

of reality and fantasy

have meshed

No longer able

to tell

which is which

I've loved

in many ways

Have I been loved

cannot be confirmed

nor denied

Yet

this I know

All roads

merge here

You

...Meridian
