Poetic Verses
A Foolish Man
A foolish man is dangerous
His head is in the sand
Believing he has full control
With the world at his command.
A foolish man will say that God
Is myth and nothing more
Existing in the minds of those
Influenced by fabled lore.
A foolish man will make the case
And offer reasons why
He needs to sow wild oats today
For tomorrow he may die.
A foolish man will boast that he
Can make it on his own
Without the help of anyone
Much better off alone.
A foolish man will tell himself
There are no moral codes
And that those who believe in such
Are simple-minded toads.
Yes, a foolish man is dangerous
His head is in the sand
And will not change until he sees
That God is in command.
