If It Seems
If it seems you are mistreated
And no one understands
That's when you need to think about
The scars in Jesus' hands.
If it seems you've lost direction
And don't know what to do
The power of an earnest prayer
Can point the way for you.
If it seems your days are empty
As you go from year to year
The presence of friends and loved ones
Can fill your heart with cheer.
Most of us have had those feelings
Which sometimes make us think
That we don't matter anymore
Because we're out of sync.
That said, please strive for happiness
Even if life seems surreal
And trust the Lord when you feel down
For He knows how you feel.
