Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Our M.P.’s

Our members of Parliament…
Should the question arise…
Which one and why do you truly despise?
They sit on their fat buts
Looking quite grand
But offer no more than an imaginary hand.

They promise us everything
But deliver far less
Unless you are wealthy and need to line your new nest.
Then funds are abundant
Silver or gold…?
The money that’s needed will help keep the poor people cold.

We beg for your guidance
We plead for your care
Then you ask for our votes to put you back there?
Why is the question?
What do you do?
You are useless, inept and probably impotent too!
