'' You Are On Your Way Out ''

Why are we here,
The academics ask,
I'd say, to live and then die,
To just disappear?
They take me to task,
Surely, that must be a lie.

Prove I am wrong,
I then say,
They reply, you're talking rot,
Where do I belong,
How long will I stay?
My questions leave them distraught.

If you're all knowing,
You must know the truth,
Could it be that life's an illusion?
Though theories are flowing,
They are all uncouth,
As none of them can reach a conclusion.

We can't be alone,
The universe is vast,
I say, prove there is life out there,
That great unknown,
Leaves the scientists aghast,
It's from them, we need to beware.

If life abounds,
Are they just like us,
A species that are sick in the head,
While doing their rounds,
They may like a fuss,
Just like humans, it has to be said.

A particle's been found,
It's time to reflect,
What use will it be to mankind?
This may well astound,
It will have no effect,
But to reality, most theorists are blind.

Those intelligence led,
Obsessed with what's living,
Create weaponry, which will kill us all,
Watch where you tread,
Death is so unforgiving,
We humans are heading for a fall.

The reason we exist?
There's none of them know,
So, I've left them all in no doubt,
The point they've all missed,
On them I'll bestow,
From conception,
