Freedom is Happening
Freedom is Happening April 2, 2021
I wrote these words today before they went away
Freedom is happening I can feel it every day
Twenty Six plus six is happening, we'll finally have our way
If the Planters join us maybe we'll let them stay
A united nation under God the way it was meant to be
The shamrock growing strong, the people living free
Bigotry and shame are gone, who could ask for any more
The walls are gone, we'll live as one for sure
I've never met my neighbor or seen the other side
The walls are gone, no more hate we finally have the cure
Together we are Irish twenty-six plus one is here
