I feel I know when commonsense died
It goes back as far as honest time
When a man was a person of his word
Before real men ever wale the Line

They rode horses and wore gun's
Had faith in trust each other
They'd trust their dog and horses
Would die to protect their mother

Without this trust they all knew
Their life depended on this alone
They had one ear on their very soul
Hearts of dignity in life to the bone

Not afraid to die for love nor work
Or family regardless of all back then
When men were men women were mature
No politics religion or profit when

They had values they'd die for always
Good men existed with a single vow
Nothing was ever more important
Not any way as things are today now

Today lies fly like feathers in wind
Contridictions endless every day
Kowing why they were born at all
Long ago before commonsens went away
