'' As Our Neighbours, Invoke Retribution ''

With the stars above,
I fell in love,
They're our present, future and past,
Why they are there,
Is for us to beware,
In the universe ever so vast.

As planets dissolve,
Many others evolve,
Creating the miracle called life,
If we're to survive,
Earth, we need to revive,
We are causing this planet such strife.

What should concern,
Is we never learn,
Not until it is far too late,
What's gone is gone,
We're now way overdrawn,
Yet our destruction we refuse to abate.

The implications?
Billions of creations,
Will be refused their right to live,
We are under attack,
Yet we refuse to fight back,
Our morals say, take not give.

The Moon and Mars,
And all of the stars,
Are becoming ever more demanding,
Each and every day,
They drift further away,
In a universe which is forever expanding.

What really frightens,
Is, as the Earth lightens,
Due to our corporate greed,
The distance grows faster,
Mother Nature's the master,
But it's humans who have sown the seed.

As the pressure gets stronger,
We won't last much longer,
By refusing to seek a solution,
Be in no doubt,
We are on the way out,
