If someone is above reproach,
As the husband having one wife;
Your children that the Scriptures coach,
Defiance will be causing strife.
An overseer must be blameless,
For being a steward of God;
Not arrogant for Him to bless,
Nothing that would cause to be flawed.
Be hospitable, lover of good,
Being upright and disciplined;
Sober and holy as you should,
Being righteous and has not sinned.
Hold firm and trust the Word as taught,
Be able to give instruction;
It is sound doctrine to be sought,
That will have no contradiction.
Some who are insubordinate,
Empty talkers and deceivers;
Arrogance tries to dominate,
The people that are believers.
They must be silenced, and lips sealed,
Shameful gain upsetting preaching;
Trying to keep the truth concealed,
With fake news that they are teaching.
They are evil beasts and liars,
Their testimony is not true;
Having tongues of flaming fires,
The direction that they pursue.
I am witnessing as the truth,
Therefore I sharply will lambast;
For their unsound faith is uncouth,
Into the fire God will cast.
I heed not to myths or fables,
From the truth that turns some away;
For the truth showing what labels,
What many are going astray.
Unto the pure, all things are pure,
But the defiled, unbelief;
Disobedient to the core,
Only fitting for causing grief.
