Bless the Lord, O my soul,
All that is within me;
Bless the One in control,
Bless His Holy decree.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
Forget not benefit;
For in Him I console,
To confess I submit.
He forgives transgression,
And heals your disease;
Giving your confession,
And worshipping to please.
The Lord redeems your life,
Crowns you with steadfast love;
Saves from the pit of strife,
That comes from mercy above.
He satisfies with good,
For renewing your youth;
Just as the eagle stood,
Being perched with the truth.
