I am weary and worn out,
And too dumb to be a man;
For my mind is full of doubt,
Going wayward with no plan.
Too foolish to be a man,
Without the understanding;
More brutish than someone can,
To what God is demanding.
I have not learned the wisdom,
Nor in having the knowledge;
About God and His Kingdom,
Because of the disparage.
How could I become holy,
Who ascended to Heaven;
Was resurrected solely,
So sins would be forgiven.
Who gathered wind in His fist,
Wrapped waters in a garment;
Established earth to exist,
Will return to give judgment.
What is the name of the Son,
To take refuge as a shield;
When finished then what was done,
What fruits did all of us yield.
For the Word of God proves true,
A shield for putting my trust;
His Word that I should construe,
Because He is fair and just.
Do not add unto His Word,
You will be found a liar;
Always impart as is heard,
To block earthly desire.
Remove vanity and lies,
For I be poor but not steal;
Profane words makes me not wise,
Without any godly zeal.
Slander not to your master,
Lest be found guilty and cursed;
Find your life a disaster,
By Satan you are coerced.
