A heart desire and prayer,
To God for them to save;
For the names that I share,
Be rescued from the grave.
For I bear them witness,
That they have zeal for God;
Not spiritual fitness,
How to honor and laud.
They seek to find their own,
Caddish of righteousness;
Since they do not condone,
Having so much selfishness.
Christ is the end of Law,
To all who will believe;
Since He deletes the flaw,
For rebirth to receive.
Those who do righteous things,
Shall also live by them;
But through what the faith brings,
God shall never condemn.
Do not say in your heart,
Who ascends to Heaven;
If faith does not depart,
Salvation is given.
Who descends to the deep,
Not brought up from the dead;
Wakens not from their sleep,
Rots in the grave instead.
For the Word is near you,
In your mouth and your heart;
Your mind knows it is true,
To speak as to impart.
So confess with your tongue,
That Jesus Christ is Lord;
Forcing out from your lung,
To be in one accord.
With the heart one believes,
That they are justified;
Of what their faith achieves,
Love from the crucified.
