Poetic Verses

Passing through a life we move;
learning, growing just to prove
a life has grown and was well spent
This gracious gift we've been lent

Passing through life's open doors;
reaching heights our self-pride soars
Passing milestones as we go;
recording life as we know

Passing faces in the street;
some as family, some we'll meet
Passing on tradition laced
with memory of the ones we've graced

Passing through life's final gate;
the last of passage as our fate
Passing from the earthly bond;
release the spirit to beyond

In memory of Antoinette Mistretta 4/26/21
