Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Leading us to war
I can hear the mothers wailing
…feel their piercing screams
Their worst nightmare has come to life
Shattered all life’s dreams…
A child taken from them
A casualty of war
Someone else has dropped a bomb
To even up the score!?
Nothing ever changes
Someone else to blame
Someone else has made them angry
Now others die in flames.
Flags are raised much higher
Momentum takes control
Another rocket, another bomb…
Another bloody hole!
Is life itself now dying?
Has intelligence proved flawed?
Because all these clever people
Keep leading us to war!!!
